We do our very best to accommodate special requests please let us know when placing your booking if you have any specific requirements.
Specific Pitches or Pitches booked “together”
We take many bookings where guests request specific pitches or pitches together. While we will do our very best to accommodate such requests. We can not guarantee this 100% of the time, but we do try!! Groundsheets We accept breathable membrane groundsheets only.
We ask that any booking of 3 nights or less is paid in full at the time of booking. For bookings of more than 3 nights, guests are required to pay a £20 deposit.
Deposit Refund / Cancellations
Please send a stamped addressed envelope for an acknowledgment of deposit. We offer a full refund of your deposit if you cancel 21 days before the date of your arrival. There will be no refund available if the booking is cancelled later than this. However, at our discretion, we may transfer deposits to future bookings.
Changes to bookings
Telephone alterations to booked holiday dates must be confirmed either by letter, fax or email. We ask guests to notify us of any date changes to bookings 7 days prior to arrival, if this is not honoured, the full payment for the booking will be required on arrival.
Payment on Arrival
Guests are required to pay the balance for their booking on arrival before their unit is pitched.
Arrival & Departure
Could we please ask that you do not arrive prior to 2pm. If you wish to travel overnight, may we suggest that you stop at a safe and suitable place en route. Please do not arrive during the night or the early hours of the day. Reserved pitches will be held until 6pm on the day of your arrival. If you are delayed on your journey, please let us know.
Vacating your pitch
Please vacate your pitch by 12 noon. If you would like to leave later than 12 noon, please speak to us beforehand – a further charge may be required.
If you are expecting visitors, please inform us in advance of their arrival, and provide us with a car registration number. Please inform us if your visitors have dogs. they are to be kept under the same control as clients dogs.
Dogs to be kept on lead at all times and to be exercised in a separate paddock provided off the site. Any owner allowing their dog to foul the site will be asked to leave without a refund. Any accidental dog fouling must be cleaned up immediately. NO DOGS TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN CARAVANS/MOTORHOMES.
Noise / Televisions / Radios
Considerate behaviour towards other visitors and the site itself makes for a happy, relaxed atmosphere! We respectfully ask that in general terms guests are conscious of others and pay due consideration to their level of noise especially during hot weather when they have windows open and particularly after 10pm. We have found through experience that because our location is so quiet, sound travels.
All children must be under adult supervision when using play equipment.
These are allowed by permission only and must be pitched as directed.
Drive at walking pace please.
The right is reserved to refuse admittance or to terminate the visit of any person or persons whose conduct is detrimental to Headon Farm or to other visitors.
The owners will not accept liability in respect of injury or damage to any person or the property of any person using the site howsoever caused or sustained.
