Located in the beautiful north Devon Countryside close to the Cornwall border, Headon Farm Caravan Site & Storage offers you peace of mind with secure Cassoa Gold standard storage. We offer secure storage for caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents and boats with the option for either outside or undercover storage. Our secure undercover storage sheds are purpose built providing optimum high-quality storage conditions, our outside storage is all on hard standing, not overhung by trees.
Access through a wide double gated entrance, we are always on hand and can arrange access to storage all year round. There are flexible payment terms to suit all budgets.
Also, at Headon Farm we have a peaceful Touring Site with a choice of either lawned grass or hard standing pitches, all with 16-amp electric hook up, a toilet/shower block and free WiFi available. The Site is open all year round, our spacious pitches have wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, there is always something to see whatever the season as you unwind and relax. You may catch a glimpse of deer feeding, foxes, badger, buzzards riding the thermals and hear owls hooting, just some of the wildlife to be seen from the campsite or as you stroll the quiet lanes. Bordering the campsite are Devon hedgerows, they are a natural habitat for an abundant assortment of wildflowers.
We welcome well behaved dogs at Headon, there is a dedicated dog walking field in which to exercise your dog off the lead, with amazing views of both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. Alternatively, within a short drive of our campsite is Cookworthy Forest or the stunning beaches on the North Cornwall coast to explore. Should you need it there are local kennels offering ‘Doggie Day Care’.
There is so much to do during your visit to Headon Farm Caravan Site, the activities for families are endless. On the campsite there is space to fly a kite, play cricket and let off steam in the car-free centre of the field, all within a safe view of the pitches.
Headon Farm Caravan Site is a great base for days out, exploring all the area has to offer. The market town of Holsworthy is just 2 miles away with shops arranged around The Square, 20 minutes from the Touring Site are the beaches of beautiful Bude and the stunning scenery of the north Cornwall coastline. From the campsite we are spoilt for choice for activities such as cycling the on the National Cycle Route 3 or Tarka Trail, body-boarding and surfing from the Cornish beaches, walking on Dartmoor, swimming pools, archery, horse riding, cinema, activity parks, the list is endless. If you enjoy National Trust properties there are many wonderful houses and gardens all just a day trip away, along with the ever-changing seasons at RHS Rosemoor.
Perhaps you may wish to ‘just stop’, unwind and breath in the fresh country air. At night, look up and marvel at the stars in the clear skies above the campsite while sitting around your BBQ or firepit.
